Devil Don’t Have Favorites

We think we have made it because we have achieved “success”.  It tool us this long and hard work to get to this point.  We have followed God’s plan for our life, our family, and our career.  And we expected to be happy and content at this point with no major issues.  But we are not….Hell has broken loose and we feel as if we are under attack more from the Devil than ever before.  But why?  We did what we were supposed to do and it seems worse now than ever before.

Answer is very simple….

The Devil does not attack anyone who he already has.

He goes after the strong and those called according to God’s purpose.  It seems counter-intuitive that we are attacked increasingly as we do more of God’s great work.

But don’t be dismayed.  This is all according to the Plan.  The Devil only seeks to prove God wrong that His people are faithful and loyal.  Work can get tough with our team turning on us, our children are acting so crazy that we swear that they are someone else’s, and our friends’ may behave in a way that they appear to be strangers.

But you will weather this storm.  As Job was tested and stayed faithful, he received his reward in the end.  The key thing to remember is..

The Devil never has control of your life, if you do not allow him.  Stay true to yourself and your values.  The storm is short.  And understand that the people who are causing this hell in your life are only being used as vessels of the Devil’s work.  Keep moving forward and focused on the victory at the end.

Do you feel you are under attack?  Have you turned away or towards God?

I tell you the devil was at work on Sunday morning, first I did not awaken until 8:00 A.M. to get ready for church. Secondly I told my daughter we were leaving at 10:45 A.M. for church. We are ready to leave I can not find my kindle. I look in the bedroom, in the family’s room and in the kitcken and I can not find it. My daughter told me I threw it out with the trash, I said let go we are already late, I will take my bible because it is the hard copy. so when we returned home I went back in the bedroom to start the search again. guess what the kindle was laying on the pillow on the bed. It was just the devil at work, but he did not win, God won that battle. Love You Jesus.

God always win…You never know…May be God had you leave it at home because you would have dropped it at Church. But, true to form, you had a back up. Thanks for sharing!
