Who is Benefitting from Your Success?

Continuation from Monday, there is another side of the coin.  Who are the people who are using your success to uplift themselves?  How many people are using you as their inspiration?

I’ve written previously that we never know who is watching us – taking notes on our every move.  This is why it is our responsibility to live our life, as Jill Scott sang…

If you were not aware, there are people who are taking pride in your success.  These could be parents, mentors, siblings, friends, etc.  But these people have always been in our corner and supported us through our success.  They gain pleasure and joy based upon how we perform.  We must always recognize this group of people.  Yes, we may reach a point in which we sit on top of the world, but we must remember that there is someone’s hand underneath our butt which is actually holding us up there.

There are also young people who are cheering for our success.  They know that we are paving the way for their future. Not only will they learn from our successes, but also from our mistakes.

Be mindful of who is celebrating you.  There are people around you that cheer for you each time you walk out that door.
