Favor Ain’t Fair!

Leaders are successful people.  We achieve our success because we have recognized our gift, and we utilize it to the fullest.  But not everyone is successful in the same manner that we are.  Is it our responsibility to feel guilty for the discrepancy?  Should we be ashamed at our success?

The answer is an astonishing NO!  The title says it all…FAVOR AIN’T FAIR!  There are reasons why you are successful and have been blessed with where you are in life:

1.  You have aligned your priorities with putting PEOPLE first.

2.  You are a servant.

3.  You have recognized that your success is not because of your own hard work (you had help getting to where you are.)

You do not need to feel ashamed or embarrassed at what you accomplished.  You should be thankful for what you have achieved, but also mindful that there is still more work to do.

But with this mindset, we are also careful to not be boastful in our position.  It is still our calling to pull others not only up to our level, but to throw them past us.

So the next time you question where you are, and where others are relative to you..just remind yourself..FAVOR AIN’T FAIR!!  You are a child of the MOST HIGH GOD, so strive for the success that has already been spoken in your life!
